Vilnius active tour (5 days / 4 nights)


DAY 1: VILNIUS (arrival)

Arrival to Vilnius. Private transfer the hotel. Free time.

Overnight: VILNIUS


DAY 2: VILNIUS – GREEN LAKES – VILNIUS (40 KM)

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning meeting with your local English speaking guide for a 3 hours city tour of Vilnius (on foot), visiting the most magnificent places: Cathedral square, Presidential Palace square, Vilnius University, gothic corner with the churches of St. Anne and St. Bernardine, the old Jewish ghetto, Town Hall square, the Gates of Dawn.

In the afternoon bicycle ride towards the green lakes, one of the most beautiful lakes of Lithuania. The cycling path will lead you to the regional park of Verkiai with its water mill and the beautiful manor house. Further drive through the colorful woods of Lithuania. Roundtrip around Lake Balsys, where you will also stop for a small picnic in the nature. Drive back to Vilnius trough a traditional village of Dvaryksciai. Cycling approximately 30 km.

DAY 3: VILNIUS – LOKES PEDA ADVENTURE PARK – TRAKAI – VILNIUS (200 KM)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Excursion to the “Lokes Peda” (a bear foot) adventure park. You will be challenged to pass 60 obstacles that one can find in remote exotic tours only: monkey bridges, moving logs, Tibetan bridges, nets, swings, Nepalese bridges, stirrups, pirate ladders, Tarzan leap, Tyrolese fly, etc. The helpful instructors will provide all the necessary information, training and professional safety equipment as well as make sure your leisure in LOKĖS PĖDA is safe and unforgettable. Return to Vilnius. On the way back optional visit to Trakai, former capital of the Grand Duke of Lithuania, surrounded by three lakes, known as the biggest Karaite minority town. Entrance to the Trakai castle. Arrival to Vilnius.

DAY 4: VILNIUS – AUKSTAITIJA NATIONAL PARK – VILNIUS (200 KM)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Drive towards Aukstaitija National Park, famous as the most ecotourism area and known as the summer capital of water tourism. The territory fascinates with splendid clean lakes, connected by picturesque linkups, ethnographic villages, vivid shapes of the surface, abundance of forests and harmony of the nature. As soon we reach the small town of Paluse, we start our canoeing trip. You float on Uteniai – Utenishkiai – by streamlet Buka until the lake Balushiai. Then you float on Baluoshykshtchiai – by streamlet Srovinaitis – by river Srove till village Ginutchiai. While canoeing 3-4 hours stop for a picnic in the open air. Return to Vilnius.

DAY 5: VILNIUS (departure)

Breakfast. Time at leisure for shopping or any other activities. Private transfer to Vilnius airport.
